1. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by PR Auto Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "PR Auto") and your access to our website at prautosolution.co.za ("Website").
By using our services or accessing our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services or Website.
2. Definitions
"Services" means all automotive services provided by PR Auto Solutions, including but not limited to car locksmith services, key programming, vehicle diagnostics, ECU repairs, and auto electrical services.
"Customer" or "you" means the person or entity using our Services or Website.
"Vehicle" means the motor vehicle for which Services are requested.
3. Services Provided
PR Auto Solutions provides the following services:
Emergency car key replacement and duplication
Key cutting, coding, and programming for all vehicle makes
Transponder key programming
Remote repairs and programming
Vehicle diagnostics and ECU repairs
Computer box repairs and coding
Cluster repairs and coding
Auto electrical services
Air conditioning services
General automotive repairs and maintenance
4. Service Appointments and Bookings
Appointments:
Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis or by appointment.
We aim to provide same-day service where possible, but this is not guaranteed for all services.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting us at least 2 hours in advance.
Workshop Hours:
Workshop hours are subject to change. Please contact us to confirm current operating hours.
Emergency services may be available outside regular hours at additional cost.
5. Pricing and Payment
Quotations:
We provide upfront quotations for services where possible.
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Final pricing may vary if additional work is required or if vehicle conditions differ from initial assessment.
Payment Terms:
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and credit/debit card payments.
Vehicles and keys will only be released once full payment has been received.
Deposits:
A deposit may be required for specialised parts or extensive work.
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel the service after parts have been ordered.
6. Vehicle Access and Security
Vehicle Drop-Off:
When leaving your vehicle at our workshop, you must provide accurate contact information.
You are responsible for removing all valuables from your vehicle.
PR Auto Solutions is not liable for personal items left in vehicles.
Key and Vehicle Release:
Vehicles and keys will only be released to the registered owner or authorised representative.
Proof of identity and vehicle ownership may be required before release.
CCTV Surveillance:
Our premises are monitored by CCTV for security purposes.
By entering our premises, you consent to CCTV recording.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty:
We provide a 90-day warranty on workmanship for services performed.
This warranty covers defects arising from our work but does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
Parts Warranty:
Warranties on parts are subject to manufacturer warranties and terms.
Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts typically carry manufacturer warranties.
Exclusions:
Warranties do not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications.
Warranties are void if repairs are attempted by third parties during the warranty period.
Warranty Claims:
To claim under warranty, contact us immediately and return the vehicle to our workshop.
We will assess the issue and repair or replace defective work at no charge if covered by warranty.
8. Liability and Indemnity
Limitation of Liability:
PR Auto Solutions' liability is limited to the cost of services provided.
We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages, including loss of income, business interruption, or vehicle downtime.
Vehicle Condition:
We will inspect vehicles before commencing work and note any existing damage.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, rust, or deterioration discovered during service.
Customer Indemnity:
You indemnify PR Auto Solutions against any claims arising from:
Inaccurate information provided about the vehicle
Outstanding finance or legal issues related to the vehicle
Use of our services for unlawful purposes
9. Customer Obligations
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition
Ensure you have legal authority to request services for the vehicle
Pay for services rendered in accordance with these Terms
Collect your vehicle within 7 days of service completion
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our Website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of PR Auto Solutions or our licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our Website without our prior written consent.
11. Website Use
Prohibited Activities:
You may not use our Website to:
Transmit harmful or malicious code
Interfere with Website functionality
Collect information about other users
Impersonate PR Auto Solutions or our staff
Engage in unlawful or fraudulent activities

Alternative Dispute Resolution:
Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation or negotiation.
14. Force Majeure
PR Auto Solutions is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, civil unrest, strikes, or government restrictions.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our Website with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
16. Consumer Protection Act
Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 are not affected by these Terms. Where these Terms conflict with the Consumer Protection Act, the Act shall prevail.
17. RMI Accreditation
PR Auto Solutions is accredited by the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI). We adhere to RMI standards and codes of conduct for the automotive industry.

19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PR Auto Solutions regarding use of our services and Website.
